Miranda Ames is a Dallas native who grew up in Carrollton and spent time on her late father’s ranch as a child. She currently serves as a Financial Professional at Enoch Financial Group, leading the firm’s marketing, brand strategy, and client experience, and ensuring compliance initiatives are met. Her work combines financial guidance with intentional design and operational excellence to create an experience that helps clients feel supported, informed, and confident throughout their journey.

Before entering the financial services industry, Miranda spent over 10 years working in the medical field, where she developed a deep appreciation for service, advocacy, and administrative care for people during important life moments. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she transitioned into Human Resources, gaining experience in communication, leadership, and helping individuals navigate decisions that impact their futures. Although she initially had no plans to enter financial services, everything changed after meeting her husband, Travis Ames, Sr. Through hearing his conversations with clients and seeing the trust, education, and impact created through financial planning, she began to see the industry differently.

During this time, Miranda began work on a nonprofit initiative focused on supporting athletes beyond the game. That mission is deeply personal to her. Having witnessed both the opportunities and challenges that can come with athletic dreams, she became passionate about ensuring athletes and their families have access to education, guidance, and resources that empower long-term success—not just performance. As she developed the nonprofit, one question continued to surface:

How would I know the financial information being given to athletes truly serves their best interests?

That curiosity sparked a deeper pursuit of financial knowledge—not to rely solely on what others said, but to understand it herself and ultimately help others make informed decisions with confidence.

Today, Miranda combines her passion for education, strategy, and client experience to support individuals and families while helping to shape Enoch Financial Group's growth. Miranda is currently completing her Associate’s degree in Business at Collin Community College and plans to continue her education at the University of North Texas with a focus in Financial Planning. Outside of work, Miranda’s most meaningful roles are being a wife, mother, daughter, and founder. She believes the greatest impact happens when people feel educated, supported, and empowered to create opportunities that extend far beyond themselves.
